Why We’re Welcoming Tribe into Studio Graphene

Ritam Gandhi announces Studio Graphene’s integration with Tribe and expansion into Ireland

Today we’re welcoming Eoin McKenna from Tribe into Studio Graphene.

This strengthens what we do, expands our presence in Dublin and brings in a set of skills and client relationships that genuinely complement our own.

This wasn’t a sudden decision and it wasn’t driven by a desire to simply grow bigger. It came out of conversations over time and a shared sense that this was the right move at the right moment.

People naturally ask why now. The honest answer is alignment.

There are plenty of good agencies out there. What matters is finding people you genuinely want to work with - people who think in similar ways, care about similar things and share a view of where digital delivery is heading. From our first conversations with Eoin, that alignment was clear.

Tribe felt complementary rather than overlapping. Close enough to feel familiar, but different enough to add something meaningful. A different geography, adjacent areas of work and a client base that fits naturally alongside ours. This wasn’t about bringing in a business that mirrors Studio Graphene. It was about strengthening the whole without diluting what already works.

Our approach to growth has always been deliberate. We grow organically and occasionally we make well-timed moves when the foundations are strong. Bringing in new talent only makes sense when you’re confident in your proposition, your processes and how you run the business day to day. That’s where we are now.

For Tribe’s clients, this opens up access to a broader set of capabilities - deeper experience across cloud, DevOps, custom software and AI-led digital products - while keeping the people and relationships they trust. It’s more joined up support as their needs evolve, not a reset.

For Studio Graphene, this strengthens parts of the delivery lifecycle we haven’t historically focused on as heavily. Eoin brings a strong perspective on client-facing digital experiences and how products perform, evolve and show up in the real world. Adding our focus on platforms, systems and long-term product thinking, creates a more complete end-to-end offering.

As Eoin put it: “Joining Studio Graphene felt like a natural step. There is a clear alignment in cultures, standards and ethos. This is an opportunity to build on that and connect what Studio Graphene does with a broader product capability, while supporting clients in Ireland and across Europe.”

We’re not following a rigid integration playbook. There’s no 100-day plan where everything changes overnight. We’re starting with what already works, learning as we go and joining things up thoughtfully. Every situation is different and forcing a one-size-fits-all model rarely leads to good outcomes.

This is our first integration and we’re open about the fact that we’re learning as we go. Doing it well matters. If it works as we expect, we’d like to do more of this in the future - carefully and with intent.

This is a positive step for Studio Graphene. It builds on the foundations we’ve put in place and sets us up well for what comes next.

I’m excited to welcome Tribe into Studio Graphene and to see what we can build together - for our teams and for our clients.

Thanks for reading - Ritam Gandhi, Founder of Studio Graphene.
