Locaria, part of the Stagwell Group, is a global multilingual content agency helping market-leading brands like Nike, Samsung and American Express adapt campaigns across markets. Their services span translation, localisation, content production, SEO, design and research.
Seeking to replace restrictive third-party tools and unify workflows, Locaria partnered with Studio Graphene following a competitive RFP to build a custom platform, Adaptria, for project and content management.

From these insights we produced detailed requirements in Miro, created user story maps and user flows, and then developed wireframes and a technical roadmap to establish the platform’s foundation.
We began with a discovery phase, running workshops across Locaria teams to map processes and pinpoint pain points. This revealed reliance on third-party tools, gaps in content adaptation, SEO and design, and teams still managing projects manually with spreadsheets and ad-hoc tools.
From these insights we produced detailed requirements in Miro, created user story maps and user flows, and then developed wireframes and a technical roadmap to establish the platform’s foundation.

Design sprints followed, moving iteratively from low to high fidelity prototypes. The goal was to deliver a simple, intuitive experience capable of handling complex workflows, from multilingual translation to video editing, SEO and content adaptation - without fragmented systems. Hands-on workshops and user interviews throughout the design process ensured the platform remained user-centric and responsive to real team needs.

Visual branding, look and feel and a full design system translated Locaria’s guidelines into UI standards, defining key touchpoints such as dashboards, notifications and login screens while keeping interactions consistent and predictable.

Phased delivery ensured business continuity. The first release introduced a lightweight client portal integrated with existing systems, while the full platform unified workflows across translation, content adaptation, SEO and design. This approach allowed Locaria to transition smoothly, stay ahead of their April 2026 deadline to retire legacy tools and provide teams with a single, reliable system to manage projects efficiently.

The result is Adaptria, a bespoke platform for content adaptation and project delivery built to meet Locaria’s needs. It brings together translation, localisation, SEO, content adaptation and design in a single system, replacing disjointed tools. Clients submit requests, track progress and approve work via a dedicated portal, while teams manage projects, resources and invoicing centrally.
By consolidating complex operations, Adaptria enables Locaria to deliver global campaigns with greater efficiency, visibility and confidence. Now live as a standalone platform, it marks Locaria’s full transition away from legacy tools and establishes Adaptria as the foundation for future growth.
